I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga

Jazz isn’t a normal boy although he wants to think he is. His father is a serial killer who has been locked in prison for years. Before his father was incarcerated Jazz was taught every trick in the book about serial killing. Now there is a serial killer on the loose in Jazz’s small town who just so happens to be copying one of the worlds most notorious serial killers. There is one problem. The police in his town don’t think that there is a serial killer on the loose and he knows there is. Jazz begins the dangerous hunt and is determined to stop the serial killer with his keen criminals point of view knowledge.

Every detail within the novel was beautifully executed. The characters in the novel each had distinct qualities that were very memorable and had strong character development. The novel itself had a fantastic storyline. I fell in love with the detailed description in the setting and could imagine the scenery play out page by thrilling page in my mind. Barry Lyga’s I Hunt Killers left me wanting more thrill and adventure! Let me know what you think!
